I grew up in Fillmore, California and now live and work in the Central Valley where I earned my bachelors in Global Art Studies from the University of California, Merced. I work in painting, photography, and film to explore the intersections of identity, queerness, and enviornment. I am inspired by stories of apocalypse and survival such as Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower, dreams and imagination as a source of reflection; queer community, Latino/a-American identity and our relationship with land and ecology, and feminine bodies.
